La La Anthony shares holiday traditions, self-care goals, and giving back
La La Anthony sat down with "First for Women" to discuss her holiday traditions, self-care journey, and aspirations for the new year.
As a mother and a working professional, La La admitted self-care hasn’t always been a priority, but she has been striving to change that.
“Self-care could just be curling up on the couch and watching a movie,” La La said. “Which I don’t have a lot of time to do.
“Moving into this new year, I want to get better at taking care of myself. I’ve always been great at taking care of everyone else but not myself.”
For La La Anthony, the holidays have been about bringing family together.
“Thanksgiving was huge for us this year, and now I’ve set the bar really high for Christmas,” La La said.
Spending uninterrupted time with loved ones is what she treasures most, calling it “the greatest gift” in today’s fast-paced world.
La La also revealed her love for classic Christmas movies, which she enjoys revisiting every year.
“They never get old. You can watch them 100 times and still find something new,” she said.
A passionate advocate for youth, La La highlighted the importance of organizations like Girls Inc. of New York City and the Police Athletic League.
“The problems in the inner city happen because there aren’t enough things to do,” La La explained. “These organizations provide opportunities, activities, and education for kids to stay out of trouble.”
Through her Winter Wonderland charity event, La La continues to support boys and girls during the holiday season, ensuring they feel seen and cared for.
Looking ahead, La La is focused on balancing her thriving career, family life and personal well-being.
