Stremlow reacts to meeting Caitlin Clark

Taylor Stremlow joined the Iowa Hawkeyes over Illinois, Penn State and Wisconsin. In an interview on Press Box Banter, Stremlow described the feeling of meeting Indiana Fever guard and former Iowa Hawkeyes player, Caitlin Clark on one of her visits.

“That was very cool. She's a baller obviously and I got to talk with her. I watched her practice and just seeing that level was really incredible. Obviously she's a big competitor on the court and off the court. We were playing games at coach’s house and she was still bringing that same energy so it's pretty cool.”

Stremlow explained how she needed to adjust to the different level of play in college basketball.

“It’'s definitely very fast pacd um which I kind of expected. But also the physicality I would say everyone's bigger, stronger and taller. So just being able to adjust and take those hits that didn't come at you in high school.”
