LSU icon Angel Reese congratulates former teammate Hailey Van Lith for earning a master's degree: "Yesss babe!!! so proud"

The former LSU Tigers player, Hailey Van Lith, shared a series of snaps on her Instagram account where she could be seen posing in a graduation gown. The pictures indicated that HVL attended the convocation, where she was awarded her master's degree in business.

"Masters babes🤍I am blessed and the Lord is good," Van Lith captioned the post.

There were many fans and friends who congratulated Hailey for her achievement. One of the people to write a comment on her post was her former LSU teammate, Angel Reese. She wrote:

"Yesss babe!!! so proud 😘"

Hailey wore a brown co-ord set and wore her hair in a half ponytail. She also posed with her degree with her parents.

HVL entered the transfer portal this offseason and committed to the TCU Horned Frogs, where she will play her final season of college basketball. She is also expected to declare for the 2025 WNBA draft and is predicted to be a top-ten pick.

Hailey Van Lith talked about her academic achievements after winning a bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Hailey Van Lith was one of the star players who was part of the 2024 Paris Olympics 3x3 women's basketball team. Although the team started out unimpressively, they gained momentum and won a bronze medal despite aiming for gold.

After her big win for the team, she was asked by a USA Today reporter about her academic endeavors and how she was tackling her transition from being a master's student at LSU to preparing for another master's at TCU.

"I'm finishing my master's in business at LSU and I'm starting my master's in liberal arts at the same time at TCU. So, doing that together, it's been a process, but hopefully, it'll work out and I'll graduate in a couple days from LSU. Diploma and medal, we're educated and sporty here," Van Lith said.

Cierra Burdick came from behind and requested Van Lith's professor to cut her some slack. Hailey agreed and said:

"Please, please give me an extension."

When Hailey Van Lith played for the Kim Mulkey-led squad last year, she could not put up impressive numbers. She averaged 11.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
