Flau'jae Johnson has been making musical moves throughout the offseason. She released an album and dropped the music video of her most-awaited song, "Came Out Like A Beast," featuring Lil Wayne.
On Friday, Johnson appeared on Genius' #Verified episode to discuss her song. The hooper shared she could not contain her happiness when the world-renowned rapper rapped her verse.
"He FaceTimed me and I was like, 'It's Lil Wayne, oh my gosh'...I'm going crazy. He called me and was like, 'Yeah, I did a verse. Let me know what you think. Let me know if you're messin' with it'... You said the verse, I don't care what it sounds like," Johnson said.
"He just said my lyrics. I was geeking ... This the biggest thing ever ... That was like a Grammy. That was like the national championship win all over again for me."

The LSU star player and her teammates made a scenic trip to Greece as part of the program's cultural sightseeing plans. Flau'jae talked about the travel on her podcast, "Best of Both Worlds With Flau'jae."
She summarized her exciting offseason by telling her fans that she performed at various parties and enjoyed with the LSY Lady Tigers squad in Greece.
"Wow, it was beautiful," Johnson added (28:57). "My favorite place was Santorini I posted on Twitter that I'm going to have my wedding there. So my future boo, wherever you at, wherever you are, please know we are having our wedding in Santonrini."
Johnson has made a name for herself in college basketball and as a rapper. The young athlete often has to face questions from fans about her future.
