After last season's Elite Eight run, Flau'jae Johnson is leading LSU on a dominant campaign. The Tigers crushed NC Central 131-44 on Sunday.

Freshman guard Jada Richard contributed 10 points, shooting 5-of-9. March Madness WBB shared a clip on Instagram of Richard shaking off screens to score a jumper.

"Jada Richard made the floor shake 🫨," the caption read.

Johnson's mother, Kia Brooks, praised Richard in the comments.

"Let’s get it," Brooks wrote.

This was Richard's second-highest-scoring game this season. She tallied 11 points and six assists on Nov. 12, shooting a flawless 4-of-4, including 3-of-3 from beyond the arc against Charleston Southern.

The game was extra special for the Tigers as their coach, Kim Mulkey, recorded her 100th win with the team. She talked about her time at Baton Rouge, which began in 2021.

“Coming to LSU is not any different than when I was at Baylor for 20-plus years," Mulkey said (via The Daily Advertiser). "The kids have to believe in you, they have to let you coach them, and all of those wins belong to them.”

Jada Richard and Kim Mulkey praise Flau'jae Johnson

After winning the 2023 national championship, Flau'jae Johnson is determined to secure another title. She leads LSU, averaging 22.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Her dedication has earned praise from Jada Richard.

"Her work ethic is amazing, and coming from someone who thought I had a good work ethic, I mean, looking at Flau'jae Johnson, she works super hard and she's super strong," Richard said.

Kim Mulkey also praised Johnson for balancing her school and sports lives.

"I just think Flau'jae has this crazy work ethic," she said. "When you think about this kid, she gets up at 5:00 in the morning, she has to go to school, she has to do her music, she has to work on her game, then she has to come to practice. I don't know how she does it, but she does it and makes it work and she's reaping the rewards from her hard work."

After nine straight victories, the No. 5 Tigers will face Stanford on Thursday.
