LSU vs. NC State Game Summary

The LSU Tigers were able to dominate on the offensive side of the court as the team shot 29-of-55 (52.7%) overall, 7-of-14 (50.0%) from beyond the arc, and 17-of-20 (85.0%) from the charity stripe. They completely controlled the glass with 44 total rebounds and were able to play close to the basket as well, tallying 28 points in the paint.

The issue LSU faced was turning the ball over 21 times. Their defense did a good job as they added six steals and four blocks to their stats as well. The Tigers led by as many as 19 points in this game to completely control it.

The NC State Wolfpack struggled to get much offensively as the team combined to shoot 23-of-64 (35.9%) from the floor, 9-of-26 (34.6%) from the 3-point line, and 10-of-13 (76.9%) from the free-throw line throughout the four quarters.

The Wolfpack were only able to grab 24 total rebounds, eight less than the Tigers’ defensive rebounding total. The offense played slow as they had only five fast break points while having a five-point lead in the game. Defensively, NC State was able to tally three blocks and eight steals in the losing effort.
