Flau'jae Johnson and the LSU Tigers are preparing for their high-profile clash against South Carolina on Friday. The game was originally set to tip off on Thursday but was delayed due to the snowstorm in Louisiana.

With no game for her team, Gamecocks coach Dawn Staley was present on the sidelines during the South Carolina men's basketball team's matchup against Florida on Wednesday. She went viral for the oversized hat she wore at the game. Overtime WBB posted pictures and video clips from the game on Instagram on Thursday.

"Dawn is 1of1 😂🤞🏽," the caption read.

Flau'jae Johnson's stepfather, Ameen Brooks, commented on the look, writing:

Flau'jae Johnson shares her thoughts on the game against South Carolina

The LSU Tigers are enjoying one of the best starts to the season with an undefeated 20-0 run. They are ranked second in the SEC standings, 5-0 in conference play.

Apart from being conference rivals, LSU and South Carolina have some beef to settle after the Tigers lost to the Gamecocks in the SEC championship game last year. This game also involved a bench-clearing melee after Flau'jae Johnson intentionally fouled MiLaysia Fulwiley.

While talking about her preparations on her "Best of Both Worlds" podcast on Thursday, Johnson noted the excitement for the game from fans on social media. She added that with the changes they have had, it will be a good battle this time.

"They don't got no seven-footer just sitting in the paint now, so you know it ain't gonna be like that," she said. "That was the biggest challenge, bro. They definitely got rim protectors this year, not gonna lie. But it's a difference when it's not like a seven-footer in the paint. But it's going to be our defense that really propel us through this game."

Flau'jae Johnson is aware of the stakes involved and so she is willing to do whatever is required to secure the win.

"Me personally, I ain't even caring about scoring," Johnson added. "I got a streak of like double-digit scoring for the whole season, but if I don't score and we play good defense, that'll be a win for me. That's how locked in on like playing my role in this game I am."

The rescheduled South Carolina vs LSU game will tip off at 5 p.m. EST at the Colonial Life Arena.
