What's next for SMU and Miami
The Mustangs' beatdown of the Hurricanes sums up how things have gone for Miami this season.
SMU's offense was explosive as it was balanced, seeing seven players score in double-digits. Kevin Miller finished with a double-double of 18 points and 10 assists, while Matt Cross provided 17 points, six rebounds and four assists.
It was a bad day for Miami, getting outrebounded 29-17 as they failed to put pressure on the Mustangs' shot selection. Matthew Cleveland was their lone source of consistent offense, putting up a game-high 31 points on 11 of 17 shooting from the field.
Falling to 4-14 on the season and 0-7 in ACC play, Miami will look to bounce back in their next matchup against Stanford at the Maples Pavilion on Jan. 22 at 11 p.m. ET.
The Mustangs will prepare for their encounter with Louisville at the Moody Coliseum on Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET.
