The Cavinder twins send their thoughts and prayers to Hurricane Milton victims

Hanna and Haley Cavinder penned a message of strength and support to those affected by Hurricane Milton. Being a part of the University of Miami fraternity, the twins have represented the state of Florida proudly on the court.

The Category 3 storm lashed into Florida near Sarasota and has continued to wreak havoc across the state. It's estimated that at least 3 million people are without power.

"Sending prayers, love, and strength to all of Florida that is impacted by Hurricane Milton," the story read.

It also included prayers and well being of the victims.

Cavinder Twins gives back to Texas community

It's no surprise to see the Cavinder twins moved by the events in Florida. They have a history of supporting and uplifting communities that they're a part of, and Florida is no different.

At the end of 2023, having just moved to Texas, both Haley and Hanna partnered with Champs Sports to give back to their new community. The twins took 25 kids from the Mesquite Boys & Girls Club to the Champs Sports Park Lane store in Dallas and gave them each a $200 Champs Sports gift card.

They spoke to FanNation Kicks about the event, their inspiration behind why they decided to do it, and the importance of philanthropy and giving back:

"I think being able to give back in different ways, obviously with kids, we obviously love doing that during the holiday season. We are really passionate about that because we struggled with an eating disorder growing up. So being able to get back into that community and just kind of use our platform to have a voice - it is amazing," Hanna Cavinder
"We were given this platform, and I do think that it comes with a special responsibility, and to be able to do events like this and give back to the community to some of the kids that can't come to Champs to shop on a regular day is special," Haley added.
"So it just means a lot to be able to use a platform like ours and to just make little kids' days. Give them a memory that I hope they will remember for a little bit. But I think just being able to share our platform within other communities, and going to events and just showing that our community is really important to us."

Like the Cavinder twins, our hearts go out to all those impacted by Hurricane Milton.
