Cavinder twins Haley and Hanna often share the spotlight for the Miami Hurricanes women's basketball team. As they prepare for a road matchup against Syracuse with tip-off set for Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, they decided to document some fun they had during one of their practices.

On Friday, they shared an Instagram story post that featured them and Miami teammates gearing up for a morning practice. In the caption, they tagged the account to associate head coach Fitzroy Anthony, referring to the tone being set for the session.

"Kind of flow we on this am @coach_fitz," they said in the story caption.

Cavinder twins react to Carson Beck's transfer to the Miami Hurricanes

Miami received major news on Friday, as quarterback Carson Beck is transferring from Georgia to join their football team, with the Cavinder twins indirectly involved.

Beck leaves Georgia after five years with the program, with the last two having him be their starting quarterback. The Bulldogs 24-3 in his last 27 starts, meaning that Miami acquired a proven winner to replace previous starter Cam Ward, who declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.

With Hanna being Beck's girlfriend, both twins provided their takes on the news:

"It’s a great day to be a miami hurricane," Hanna said.
"Welcome to the good life," Haley said on Beck's Instagram commitment post.

The Hurricanes have an 11-4 record entering the Syracuse game. However, they are going through a three-game losing streak in conference play. While typically a team capable of scoring 70 or more points per game, their production has declined to 60 points on average during their skid.

Leading the way for the Hurricanes on offense is Haley Cavinder. She averages 17.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game on 47.1% shooting from the field, including 25% from beyond the arc.

The only other Hurricanes scoring in double-digits are Cameron Williams and Jasmyne Roberts. The former provides 12.1 points and 6.8 rebounds while the latter puts up 11.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest. As an active starter, Hanna Cavinder produces 7.7 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.8 rebounds.

After their matchup against Syracuse on Sunday, the Hurricanes will move on to their next game against Boston College on Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
