Miami women's basketball star Haley Cavinder reached another milestone in the Hurricanes' 68-64 loss to Virginia Tech on Sunday, becoming the latest Miami player to achieve a 1,000-rebound milestone after she grabbed a defensive rebound in the first quarter.
On Wednesday, the Canes posted a photo of one-half of the Cavinder Twins to celebrate her achievement.
"Stacking milestones," the post was captioned.
Cavinder's teammate, Jasmyne Roberts, joined other fans to celebrate her.

Haley Cavinder shines despite Miami's losing run
Miami (11-4, 1-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) has endured three consecutive defeats since the start of the new year.
This comes in contrast to the Canes' fantastic run coming into the new year as they won both games at the Maui Invitational in December. Haley Cavinder earned Tournament MVP honors after averaging 22.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game in two games.
However, the Canes seem to have lost their groove.
The first loss happened on Dec. 29, when Miami fell 69-60 to then-No. 17 North Carolina. Cavinder still shined, totaling 19 points and 11 rebounds despite the defeat. However, she committed six of Miami's 15 turnovers.
“You can’t win ball games versus that quality of team with 15 turnovers,” the Miami star said. “I need to focus on taking care of the ball.”
The Canes began the new year with their third defeat of the season as they fell 74-56 to the Louisville Cardinals on Jan. 2. Again, Cavinder led the scoring for Miami, posting 19 points on 5-for-15 shooting.
In losing 64-60 to visiting Virginia Tech on Sunday, Cavinder's performance in the game was underwhelming based on her standards: 12 points, six rebounds and six assists. It was in this game that she reached her 1,000-rebound milestone.
Meanwhile, the canes will hope to overturn their recent losing streak as they face Syracuse Orange (6-8, 0-3) on Sunday.
