Miami’s Hanna Cavinder drops 2 word reaction as BF Carson Beck announces transfer decision

Hanna Cavinder had a heartfelt reaction to boyfriend Carson Beck's decision to transfer to the Miami Hurricanes.

The quarterback announced his decision on Friday through an Instagram post. He posted a photo of himself in the program's jersey with "Committed" and "305 Bound" (Miami's area code) written on it.

As Haley Cavinder welcomed the quarterback by dropping multiple comments on the post, Hanna went to X to showcase her excitement too. Moreover, as ESPN covered her post on its IG handle, the 23-year-old reposted it on her Instagram stories with a two-word reaction.

Hanna Cavinder reacts to Carson Beck's transfer to Miami

Beck had initially declared for the 2025 NFL draft but continued his college football career by entering the transfer portal on Thursday. The former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback will now assume the role of Cam Ward for the Hurricanes, who is expected to be an early first-round pick in April.

Currently rehabbing from a UCL surgery, Carson Beck brings the experience of 3,485 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and two NCAA championships to Mario Cristobal's team.

Beck and Hanna Cavinder began dating in the summer of 2024. Fans first suspected the relationship around the Fourth of July weekend as the point guard heavily featured the quarterback in her Instagram stories.

Beck solidified the news in an interview with ESPN before the Aug. 31 game against Clemson in the Aflac Kickoff Game.

Despite Carson Beck's transfer to the 305, the couple will not be able to spend college together as Cavinder is midway through her last season of eligibility.

Hanna Cavinder is eligible to declare for the 2025 WNBA draft

Hanna Cavinder, alongside her sister Haley Cavinder, has grown to be two of the biggest names in college athletics. They are in the Top 5 of the women's college basketball NIL leaderboard and have co-founded the fitness app "Twogether" and cosmetics line "Hustle Beauty."

According to WNBA guidelines, a player needs to be at least 22 years old before being able to declare for the draft. Hanna and Haley Cavinder will turn 24 on Monday. However, the sisters are yet to declare their stance on the big league.

Haley is currently averaging 17.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists while Hanna is posting 7.7 points, 3.9 dimes and 2.8 boards.
