Sophomore MiLaysia Fulwiley had a steady outing off the bench in South Carolina's 93-47 drubbing of the Wofford Terriers on Sunday, Dec. 29. She was one of the sparkplugs off the bench that charged the Gamecocks to their 12th win of the season which ensued right after the holiday break.
Fulwiley posted 11 points on 4-for-8 shooting, which included three 3-pointers made out of seven attempts and no free throws. The second-year standout also had two rebounds, five assists and a block in the victory where she played for 18 minutes.

After giving Edwards another dime, Fulwiley was rewarded by the teammate with a pass for her three-pointer, 14-3. Building on their early double-digit lead, the Gamecocks closed the period 19-11.
She then made her second three-pointer at the 7:30 mark of the second frame from a Te-Hina Paopao feed. Fulwiley followed this up with consecutive assists. She facilitated the Gamecocks offense for the rest of the quarter leading to made baskets as the Dawn Staley-coached squad headed into the halftime break with a 22-point edge, 46-22.
In the second half, she was everywhere with three minutes to go in the frame, scoring five of her points and getting an assist. Through this, South Carolina maintained their lead going to the layover quarter, 64-41.
