Minnesota Lynx legend Seimone Augustus joined the most recent episode of the the "Best of Both Worlds with Flau'jae" podcast, released on Thursday, and spoke about her WNBA championships, Baton Rouge roots, career at LSU, as well as coaching ambitions among other topics.

Flau'jae Johnson asked Seimone Augustus for her thoughts on the four WNBA championships she won. Speaking about her first championship in 2011, the hall of famer spoke about how after her ACL injury, she actually wanted to list down her goals, something she hadn't done before.

"That was the first time I actually had grabbed something and wrote down like, 'I want to do this, this, this and that.' Before that, it was just like autopilot. I'm gonna just put the work in and let whatever happened. But I actually set intentions to go out and do stuff. And lo and behold, 2011 was that year we ended up getting it," Augustus said.

Augustus also spoke in detail about the factors that helped the team become the WNBA champions in 2011.

"Well the year prior, we ended up getting Lindsay Whalen and Rebekkah Brunson, who were great additions. And then we ended up drafting Maya Moore, and then we already had some amazing pieces there, and we just went on a ride like I've never been on," she said.

The LSU assistant coach spoke about how everything just fell into place and clicked. She said that the team never looked back after that season. They went on to win three more titles during Augustus's time with the Lynx.

Augustus played 14 years in the league, spending 13 with Minnesota before going to the Los Angeles Sparks for her final season. She won four titles with the Lynx, in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017.

She averaged 15.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game throughout her career with shooting splits of 48% from the field and 36.4% from beyond the arc. She was named All-WNBA six times and won the Finals MVP in 2011.

Apart from growing her podcast, Flau'jae Johnson was involved in a big business decision earlier this week. On Thursday, she signed an NIL deal with the Unrivaled Basketball League. The college hoops star will promote the league and be involved in content production for the tournament.

She joined UConn star Paige Bueckers as only the second college athlete to sign a deal with Unrivaled, the new women's 3x3 basketball league. Unrivaled will also support Johnson's music career.

Earlier this year, Johnson collaborated with Lil Wayne to release a track titled "Came Out A Beast". The music video of this song has garnered over 2.5 million views on YouTube.

On the basketball front, No. 5 LSU's next matchup is against Grambling State at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
