Nate Oats’ Alabama listed as the favorite to win the 2025 NCAA Tournament on online betting sites: Reports

The Alabama Crimson Tide have been flourishing under Nate Oats. The confidence will be high for the upcoming season after the team reached the Final Four in last season's NCAA Tournament.

According to the online betting platform BetOnline, Alabama is the favorite to win the 2025 NCAA Tournament with +800 odds, followed by Dan Hurley's UConn Huskies.

Last season, Alabama lost to Hurley's UConn in the Final Four, and the Huskies went on to win their second straight national championship. Bill Self's Kansas sits at the third spot, followed by Duke and Houston who have the same odds (+1400).

Alabama (25-12, 13-5 Southeastern Conference) ranked first in scoring average at 90.1 points per game last season. Bama's key players, including Mark Sears, Grant Nelson, Latrell Wrightsell Jr. and Jarin Stevenson, have returned.

Oats has also upgraded his squad with some wonderful additions in Aden Holloway (Auburn), Chris Youngblood (South Florida) and Clifford Omoruyi (Rutgers).

Apart from BetOnline, many other way-too-early predictions put the Crimson Tide at the pole position to win the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

What could Nate Oats' starting five be next season?

Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide will be eager to improve on last season's record and win the school's first national title. He's also revamped the Alabama roster and has plenty of options and rotations to pick and choose and deploy according to the situation.
