College basketball fans reacted to UConn superstar guard Paige Bueckers' deep T-shirt throw to the stands during the Seattle Storm-Chicago Sky WNBA game on Sunday night.
Bueckers appeared for a second-straight Storm game to watch former teammate Nika Muhl play. During a break in the game, the prolific six-foot guard launched the T-shirt to the stands.
It was similar to what former Washington and now Las Vegas Aces point guard Kelsey Plum did at a San Antonio Spurs game a few years ago.
Bueckers' throw went viral due to the insane distance it traveled as fans reacted on social media in awe of her extraordinary arm strength. One recommended a special T-shirt throw showdown between Plum and Bueckers.
College basketball followers admired Bueckers' cannon arm. Fans expect more of it in the 2024-25 NCAA women's basketball season when she tries to lead UConn to their 12th national title and first in nine years.
"Absolute cannon of an arm," one user posted on social media.
"Girl has a cannon I hust know she's about to use it this season for half court passes," one fan wrote.
"Craziest part is Paige looks like she has no arm strength like damn what you mean you launched that 60 feet," another user added.
"She definitely has an arm, the crowd was shooketh 😂," the fan said.
Another fan even analyzed how Bueckers threw it and compared it to Plum's throws.
"Paige just tossed it. Plum had to do that cricket pitch jump and hop to get the momentum. Paige gotta be the early betting favorite," the user said.
Other fans look forward to a reunion between Nika Muhl and Bueckers next year.
"You have the do something. We Want our twins back. Nika + Paige," a college hoops follower wrote.
"She obviously wants to play in Seattle next year, make this happen !!," a fan added.
"Face of the league in 2 years," another user opined.
Paige Bueckers enters her final NCAA season with lofty expectations

The guard averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game this past season. She will be back in the 2024-25 season to lead UConn in its quest for a 12th national title.
Bueckers will team up with veterans KK Arnold, Caroline Ducharme, Azzi Fudd and Princeton transfer Kaitlyn Chen in its bid to defend the Big East title and compete in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
