The third-ranked UConn Huskies were able to absolutely dominate in Sunday's nonconference game against the New Hampshire Wildcats, 92-53. The game was not close and the 57 points in the second half for the Huskies really had things going and brought a lot of excitement for the team going forward.

New Hampshire vs. UConn Game Summary
The Wildcats were completely outmatched in this game and they did not have much of a chance. They were held to shooting 35.4% from the floor and 23.1% from beyond the arc. Anthony McComb III was able to lead the team with 17 points and was one of three starters to record 10+ points. Their bench just did not contribute much as they were 1-for-9 with five points.

The Huskies were able to completely control the game for the entire 40 minutes. They had a 50.8/32.1/76.0 shooting split in this matchup and were able to dominate. They won the rebounding battle 42-26, including a 15-5 offensive rebounding advantage. They also were able to score 46 points in the paint to dominate down low.
Alex Karaban had another strong all-around game to lead the Huskies. He scored 17 points, with five rebounds, four assists, and four blocks, giving him 11 blocks through two games.

Meanwhile, junior guard Aidan Mahaney, a transfer from St. Mary's finally got off the mark for the Huskies after a scoreless debut against Sacred Heart. He scored nine points on 3-of-9 shooting, including 2-of-5 from behind the arc.
Overall, this is a good sign for UConn as they have some tougher competition coming up in the next few weeks.
