Chloe Kitts is having a strong start to the 2024-25 season at South Carolina. The Gamecocks forward has started every game she has appeared in, averaging 11.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
On Tuesday, Kitts took to Instagram to give her followers a glimpse into how motivated she is to taste success in her senior year. She shared a post featuring some of her favorite moments from her appearances on the court this season.
The post included snaps of Kitts decked in the Gamecocks' black kit and white kit, with the last picture seeing her make fans happy by being part of their selfies. Fans flocked to the comment section to hype the senior forward up.
"Next level unlocked, work never stops keep going," said one fan.
"@chloe.kitts, keep grinding. You're doing great this year," said another.
Another fan exclaimed, "The baddest in the game!!"
Kitts' post didn't just draw attention of her fans, but from current and former teammates as well. Raven Johnson, Te-Hina Paopao and Aaliyah Boston chimed in with supportive comments.
While Johnson resorted to commenting with multiple heart emotes, Paopao wrote, "#needthat lul ma."
Boston wrote, "And you proving it!!!!"
Kitts among top five in various stat categories
Kitts was a cog in South Carolina's run to the national championship last season, starting all but six games. She averaged 9.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
This season, Kitts missed the Gamecocks' first ranked matchup of the season against the NC State Wolfpack due to an "academic policy issue." She seems to have taken things up a notch, featuring in the top five for various stats across the roster.
Kitts ranks first in rebounds per game (8.8), second in points per game (11.2) and fifth in total blocks blocks (4). Gamecocks coach Dawn Staley will hope Kitts can stay fit throughout the season given her contributions across the board as South Carolina attempts to defend its championship.
