Who are the top five players in women's college basketball today? Instagram page HighlightHer sparked a debate among fans when it raised that question on Monday. The account featured UConn's Paige Bueckers, LSU's Flau'jae Johnson and USC's JuJu Watkins in its post. All three have started the season well, leading their teams in scoring.

Other players who were choices were Lauren Betts (UCLA), Olivia Miles (Notre Dame), Aneesah Morrow (LSU), Madison Booker (Texas), Hailey Van Lith (TCU), Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame) and Sarah Strong (UConn).

College hoops fans replied in the comments section to share their picks. Not all of them were happy with the selection though; Florida State Seminoles star Ta'Niya Latson was mentioned several times by users. She has been on fire, averaging 28.6 points per game to lead all scorers across the nation.
