Kim Mulkey, coach of No. 5 LSU Women’s Basketball, is known for her fiery passion. Ahead of LSU’s decisive 80-63 victory over the Florida Gators, Mulkey gave Florida coach Kelly Rae Finley a gift in honor of her upcoming April pregnancy due date. This was not an isolated gesture; earlier in the season, Mulkey made a similar courtesy to Tennessee coach Kim Caldwell.

The X page of SEC Network posted the video of this gesture on Sunday with the caption:

"Kim Mulkey continues to shower opposing coaches with baby gifts ... Kelly Rae Finley is expecting in April."

Fans took notice of Mulkey’s thoughtful acts and started talking about it. One said:

"Not a big fan of Mulkey, but that is classy."
"She’s such a genuinely kind person!" another tweet read.
"That’s really nice!" someone else commented.
"That’s classy," another comment came.
"This is actually super cool," someone else said.
"This is cute ! But Kimny be fly AF ! Sweater is everything," another fan said.
"Classy," someone else said.

While Mulkey’s thoughtful gestures have garnered admiration, her team’s achievements this season are equally noteworthy.

Kim Mulkey's LSU showcasing dominance on the court

LSU has remained unbeaten, moving to a remarkable 20-0 record after its victory over Florida. This accomplishment marks Kim Mulkey’s 20th 20-win season in her 25-year career.

The game against Florida began with LSU surging to a 7-0 lead in just over a minute. However, Florida quickly answered with a 21-8 run to close the first quarter. Instead of folding under pressure, LSU regrouped and dominated the rest of the game.

LSU’s success is built on the shoulders of its talented trio of Mikaylah Williams, Aneesah Morrow and Flau’Jae Johnson. Williams led the charge against Florida with 22 points, including three 3-pointers. Morrow added yet another double-double to her season, recording 20 points and 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, Johnson contributed 19 points.

From the second quarter onward, the Tigers took complete control. They outscored the Gators 22-12 in the second quarter, 22-15 in the third, and 21-15 in the final period. LSU’s defense proved suffocating, forcing 24 turnovers and converting them into 35 points. Florida struggled to find its rhythm after the opening quarter, unable to counter LSU’s relentless energy.
