"Not a master of nothing but good at a lot of things": College hoops fans react to Cooper Flagg's twin Ace transferring to Greensboro Day

On Monday, Cooper Flagg's twin brother, Ace Flagg, announced his transfer to Greensboro Day School in North Carolina for his senior year of high school. The University of Duke, where his brother will play next season, is also in North Carolina.

Durham (where the Blue Devils are located) is around 50 minutes away from Greensboro by car. With his brother attending the school, he could possibly join the school next year. However, it is as likely that the move is just meant to make family life more convenient.

College hoops fans reacted to the news on Instagram. One fan thinks he could be a useful tool for any school.

"He looks like one of those kids you would love to have on your team, not a master of nothing but good at a lot of things."

Another fan is convinced that Cooper Flagg influenced the move.

"Only reason he going there because cooper goes to duke and plus he didn’t really play last year."

Coop left a year early ? Genuinely asking a question," a fan wrote.

Some fans were surprised after hearing about Flagg's twin brother.

Cooper Flagg astounded the nation when practicing with US Olympic Team

In mid-July, Cooper Flagg was a member of Team Select USA, which gave him the opportunity to wow the nation while he played with members of the US Olympic Team during practice. A series of videos showed Flagg easily overcoming All-NBA Defense selections.

Earlier this month, Flagg talked about the experience.

“The opportunity, it was great,” Flagg said (h/t Associated Press). “It was a blessing to be here. I think just the physicality, and just the level of where I want to get to, there’s a lot to get better at, a lot where I need to keep improving. This showed just how big the details are.”

Team USA is composed of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Bam Adebayo, Derrick White and Tyrese Haliburton. Their opening game in the Olympic basketball is on Sunday against Serbia.
