“Oh Lawd have mercy”: BF Jake Ferguson in awe of Haley Cavinder’s cold move

Haley Cavinder is in Miami, leading the Hurricanes from the front. She had a double-double against Pittsburg on Sunday (22 points, 11 rebounds and five assists).

The Dallas Cowboys tight end has consistently commented on Cavinder's performances on his Instagram feed. They have been in a relationship since September 2023. This year, Ferguson had Haley Cavinder's initials tattooed on his ring finger to commemorate their anniversary.

In an interview with "The Mirror US," the Miami guard revealed who made the first move in their relationship.

"He DM’d me," Cavinder said. "He likes to say I DM’d him, but I didn’t. I was in Fort Lauderdale at the time. He has a place in Florida as well and we went on a date and just kinda met up — and then hung out for 10 days straight."

Haley Cavinder and Jake Ferguson often receive unsavory comments from haters. On Saturday, the guard posted photos from the Cowboys game with the caption:

"texas 'twas missed."

The Cowboys are on a 6-8 run this season and a fan blamed Dallas' losses on Cavinder.

“Cowboys have a losing record since y’all started dating…,” the fan wrote.

“We were together last year too but go off,” Haley replied.

This is not the first time Haley Cavinder has had to address the unnecessary hatred she receives. In a YouTube Q&A from January, the guard revealed that the hate comments she received sent her on a mental breakdown.

"I'm a confident girl, but when people are saying stuff about you — if you have a boyfriend and someone is talking about you online with your boyfriend… like coming at your features — I'm like, this is new and obviously Jake is a great guy, but you don't want to be called ugly on the internet 24/7, and your boyfriend sees it," she said.

Haley Cavinder is not the only one receiving such comments as her twin, Hanna, has also been blamed for her boyfriend, Georgia QB Carson Beck's disappointing performances this season.
