Olivia Miles enjoyed an impressive outing in No. 3 Notre Dame's 95-54 annihilation of Virginia in its last game of 2024. She continued to impress in her junior season and was one of the top performers for the Fighting Irish in today's game in front of their ardent fans at Purcell Pavilion.
Miles finished with a triple-double, scoring 11 points while grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out a team-leading 14 assists. This was a follow-up to her impressive effort against Loyola Maryland on December 22, where she finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. With these performances, she became the first player in ACC history to record consecutive triple-doubles.
While Miles failed to score a single point in the first quarter, she had three assists to help the Fighting Irish finish the period with a massive 25-9 lead. She scored her first points by making a layup with 7:56 to go in the second quarter, helping them extend their lead to 31-9.
She finished the second period with six points and added five more to her tally in the second half while racking up the assists and rebounds as well. The only flaw in her performance was her 3-point shooting, as she made only one of her seven attempts.
Miles made five of her 11 field goal attempts in the game, while also recording two steals in her 30-minute performance.

During the game, Olivia Miles also recorded her 500th career rebound, making her only the third player in program history after Lindsay Allen and Skylar Diggins with 1,000 career points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists.
Miles' triple-double against the Cavaliers was also the sixth of her career, tying her with Maryland great and five-time WNBA All-Star Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun for the most triple-doubles in ACC history. Her second triple-double in as many games improved her averages this season to 16.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists.
