Flau'jae Johnson has worn multiple hats throughout her career, and it looks like she is trying to add another. During Thursday's episode of her "Best of Both Worlds with Flau'jae" podcast, the LSU guard revealed that she could have a knack for acting.
She then switched to the character of a broken-hearted woman, trying to explain her pain. Johnson's mother, Kia Brooks, shared the post to her Instagram story and wrote:
“Omg, this girl is so funny!!”
"Follow (Flau'jae Johnson) podcast to get some laughs. She so funny and talented," she wrote in another story.

Brooks also works as Johnson's manager, helping her navigate her dual careers as a college athlete and rapper. She also plays an integral role in the guard's business deals.
In 2023, Flau'jae Johnson was named Innovator of the Year at the INFLCR NIL Summit, and during the acceptance speech, she said:
“I want to thank my mom, 'cause she’s really got me this far, being a mom, being my manager, negotiating all my NIL deals, from my shoe deals to my local deals in Baton Rouge, so I want to thank her.
“I just want to say, man, I’m blessed, honestly. Just being in a position to be able to profit off my music and my name, image and likeness being a basketball player and a rapper.”
Kia Brooks once made big predictions for Flau'jae Johnson
After the 2023 national championship, Kia Brooks predicted her daughter to be a Grammy winner next. The guard was still releasing singles, working her way through her music career.
“Flau’jae is gonna be getting a Grammy really soon,” Brooks said. “That’s all I got to say. We got a national championship. We’re going back for year two. It looks like we can repeat. So, her resume is going to be long.”
While she did not win the championship in 2024, Flau'jae Johnson did release her debut EP, "Best of Both Worlds," in June. It received rave reviews for being raw and authentic.
In an interview with On3 in 2023, Johnson revealed that she gets personal with her lyrics in hopes of inspiring people.
“Right from my soul. It comes from where I come from – Savannah, Georgia," she said. "Just being who I am, but also, you know, the things you go through make you as a person, and I want to share that 'cause other people may be able to relate.”
In her third season with the LSU Tigers, Johnson is working toward winning her second national title.
