Paige Bueckers showed off her acting chops by pulling a completely believable act on her UConn teammate, KK Arnold. Bueckers roped in the freshman's help as she filed a promotional video for her partnership with Cerave.
In the video, the senior guard claims to have a new skincare routine with pickle juice. She then proceeds to eat a pickle and applies the juice to her face, claiming that it takes away all the sweat.
A shocked Arnold asks Bueckers if it worked, to which she says:
"Yeah, you see my skin glowing. Would you try it?"
Arnold agreed to give it a try and asked her mother for pickle juice to put on her face. Mrs. Arnold asks her daughter to "get the hell out of here." In the end, Paige Bueckers reveals the truth.
Fans were shocked at Bueckers' acting skills and joked about Arnold going along with her bluff.
"This is an oscar worth performance," one fan wrote.
"Best ad out there fr," another commented.

Paige Bueckers talks about team chemistry
The UConn Huskies welcomed three players from the 2024 recruiting class and one, Kaitlyn Chen, from the transfer portal. With this, team building has been one of the focus this offseason.
“I feel like all of us are really out of our shell already,” Bueckers said (via CT Insider). “We're very close with each other. It's kind of been the theme my four years of just how close we are and how tight knit our group has always been. And it's continued this summer. We do everything together. So, it's hard not to be close.”
Bueckers also credited KK Arnold for being one of the volunteers in building friendships with the newcomers, with her TikTok videos and more.
“She (Arnold) can build chemistry with anyone, like that’s what she what she does, who she is,” Bueckers said. “She just has this amazing energy and gets people to really come out of their shell.”
The senior guard has also dropped hints that this could be her last season with the UConn Huskies. Paige Bueckers is a projected No. 1 pick in several early mock drafts. But before that, she has one more quest on her list: the NCAA Championship. Winning this will help Bueckers join the ranks of other UConn greats like Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi.
