In front of a hostile Creighton Bluejays crowd of 11,141 fans in attendance, UConn Huskies guard Paige Bueckers shone thorugh the adversities. The senior superstar finished second in her team's scoring, with 22 points, to go with five rebounds and four assists to pick up UConn's 10th straight Big East victory on Saturday.

The number of spectators who came to the CHI Center Omaha to watch the two conference foes face off is said to be the most ever, surpassing the previous tally of 4,439, set in 2003, by a significant margin.

During the post-game presser, Bueckers shared her thoughts on what it feels like to play in another kind of road environment, one that was draped in pink for the most part.

"It was a good environment. They have a great crowd, obviously. It was a shift, obviously, than what I've been playing in in the other arena. So, to be at this arena, have a great crowd, a great show out, it was awesome to play in," she shared. (1:15)

The intensity of the matchup didn't seem to rattle Paige Bueckers, as time and time again she picked her spots and rose up to make both open and contested jumpers. The same could be said for her team, as they only trailed in the opening minute of the first quarter (3-0).

With conference win No. 10, 19th overall, the Huskies stay on top of the Big East standings and will look for more of the same success on Wednesday against the DePaul Blue Demons on the road once again.

Paige Bueckers shares that changes in momentum propel UConn's offense

In the aforementioned presser, Paige Bueckers also shared that running the fastbreak, especially when they're going for the lead, helps run the UConn Huskies offense fluidly.

Although they never trailed against Creighton, Bueckers and Co.'s lead got chipped away slowly. The Hopkins, Minnesota native asserted that momentum gain is what helped them pull through eventually.

"It's huge (steal and score plays). Obviously, momentum shifters, it fuels our offense. I think our defense has always done that, and we carry that momentum that we use on the defensive side. When we can get easy baskets, see the ball go through the rim, it makes things easier for the offense," she said. (2:00)

Now that she's in her fourth and likely final year of college ball, it's important for Paige Bueckers to keep her team's momentum afloat to ensure better offensive and defensive sets, getting them more wins as she pursues an elusive national championship.
