UConn Huskies guard Paige Bueckers starred at New York Fashion Week on Sunday. The 22-year-old basketball sensation turned heads with her bold, all-butterflies outfit on Day 3.
Bueckers has been flaunting her unique fashion sense during the college basketball offseason. She was one of the most talked about athletes at the Off-White Spring/Summer 2025 show. Paige styled herself in a crop top paired with eye-catching Nike kicks.
Her outfit was adorned with butterflies from head to toe, and an IG user (@paigebuecker) posted her look:
"I’m having a great time," Bueckers told fashion magazine Marie Claire. "It’s my first Fashion Week, so I’m very excited. I’m learning to step out of my comfort zone and express myself."
Paige also shared the stage in New York with Olympic gold medalist Sunisa Lee. The two Minnesota natives took photos together and celebrated their mutual success.
Paige Bueckers not compromising on education amid hectic schedule
Being the star of college basketball now that Caitlin Clark has left to play for the Indiana Fever, Paige Bueckers has her schedule full of appointments and appearances.
However, the 22-year-old isn’t letting her education take a back seat. The Huskies guard returned to Storrs just in time for her Monday morning class.
Bueckers earned her undergraduate degree this spring and has been on a summer world tour, spotted at major events nationwide. Her schedule has been non-stop, including throwing the first pitch at a Twins game. Yet, she’s still on top of her schoolwork.
"I’ve been doing my schoolwork, too, but I’m traveling as well," Bueckers shared on TikTok.
As it stands now, Bueckers is focused on her basketball career and education and is doing her best to prove that she can balance them all.
