Former NBA star Carmelo Anthony is having a great time in Augusta, South Carolina, watching his son Kiyan compete in the Peach Jam games. Kiyan recorded 27 points and three assists in Team Melo's win over Team Durant during Nike's EYBL game on Friday.

Anthony and Kiyan had training with NBA coach Jamal Dash Lovell on Saturday. AJ Dybantsa, a top-ranked recruit for the 2025 class, was also there with them. Lovell shared several pictures from the practice sessions on his Instagram.

In one photo, Anthony, a 10-time NBA All-Star, stood alongside Kiyan and Dybantsa. Moreover, Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George also posed beside them.

"GREAT WORK IN GEORGIA THIS WEEK, WE GOT SOME SPECIAL YOUNG TALENT COMING UP - KEEP GRINDING AND WORKING," Lovell wrote in the caption.

In other images, Kiyan and Dybantsa were seen engaged in training and practice, with Lovell and George serving as mentors.

Anthony's son Kiyan plays for Long Island Lutheran High in Brookville, New York. Ranked 41st overall in the country, the six-foot-five forward has received 19 offers from different schools, including top names like Indiana, Syracuse, USC, Michigan, Ohio State and Tennessee.

Meanwhile, AJ Dybantsa, a five-star small forward, will announce his final list of colleges after the Peach Jam, according to his father, Ace Dybantsa.

Carmelo Anthony's son plans to revisit Syracuse

Kiyan Anthony, son of NBA veteran Carmelo Anthony, is set to make his second trip to Syracuse. He visited the campus in October 2023 and is planning to return during his college tour, which starts after Peach Jam.

"Obviously my Dad went there 20 something years ago," Kiyan told Joe Tipton for On3 Sports. "I feel like they’re recruiting me for myself, and not just because of my father. That’s what I like."

Kiyan has been performing exceptionally during the spring and summer with Team Melo on the EYBL Circuit, averaging 21.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists and a free throw percentage of 75.4% per game in Peach Jam PIT.

"As a father, I'm proud. I love it," Carmelo Anthony applauded his son's performance. "I'm there with you every step of the way, win or loss. We about developing, this is another step in your development."

Carmelo Anthony played a season at Cuse back in 2002-03. He played 35 games averaging 22.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game, leading the Orangemen to their first national championship in 2003.

Besides, he stood out as the team’s top performer in scoring, rebounding, free throws made and attempted.
