Former Kentucky and current Arkansas head coach John Calipari has invested in a luxurious property in the Clear Creek neighborhood for $2.2 million. The Fayetteville Flyer reported that the house is situated in a gated community at Blessings Gold Club and is located about 5.5 miles north of the University of Arkansas campus.
The opulent property has five bedrooms and includes views of the 10th and 11th golf club fairways. With an area of 7,350 square feet, it was built in 2006 and was later remodeled by Goddard Design Group.
This latest real estate investment comes after John Calipari signed a lucrative, five-year deal worth $7 million, plus a signing bonus of $1 million, with the Razorbacks in April.
John Calipari listed his former Lexington house for nearly $4 million
The new Arkansas coach had listed his former house at Lexington for a price of $4 million in May 2024, as per the Courier Journal. Just like his current estate, his old house, which is situated on Richmond Road, is built on 1.2 acres of land and has a space of 9.615 square feet.
The opulent house has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a grand foyer, a dramatic staircase, a large kitchen, a gym area, a two-story fireplace, and a basement projection room.
If that was not enough, the house also has a three-car garage, pool house, and half-court basketball court.
John Calipari bought his former Lexington house in 2009 for $1.875 million, as per Courier Journal. The home is located at a historical spot, surrounded by a beautifully designed street, and is a piece of heaven right in Kentucky. As of writing, the home is not available for sale or rent. Zillow did not specify if it had been removed from the listing or was bought by another buyer.
It will be interesting to see what other type of properties Calipari invests in the future.
