The USC Trojans were one of six colleges on Kiyan Anthony's shortlist, along with Rutgers, Ohio State, Syracuse, Florida State, and Auburn. Kiyan was expected to visit the Trojans officially in the second week of September, but the trip was rescheduled to Oct. 4 or 6.
However, Carmelo Anthony's son donned the red and yellow earlier than expected. His mother La La Anthony shared a picture of Kiyan's visit on Instagram.
"Official @uschoops visit," she captioned the image.
Kiyan has visited all four schools except for Florida State and his dad's alma mater, Syracuse. Fans expect him to visit the schools in October officially and then reveal his commitment at the end of the year.
Though Carmelo Anthony has given his son the freedom to choose the college, many believe Kiyan can continue his father's legacy at the Orange.
La La Anthony challenged son Kiyan and his friends to a painful bet
La La and her son Kiyan share a close bond, and the two often pull pranks on each other. In the first episode of Overtime's "Evolution 2.0" series, the television actress challenged her son and his friends to a hilarious bet. She offered to pay them $500 if they ate an entire spicy chip without drinking milk or water for two minutes.
Kiyan and his friends felt they would win the bet but in the end they regretted saying yes to the challenge.
"It gets worse bro, I swear to god, it gets worse," Anthony said to his friend while performing the challenge. "I can't feel my tongue right now. This needs to go away. I might take an Advil."
Despite crying out from the pain, Kiyan and his friends won the cash prize from La La.
La La Anthony posted pictures on Instagram on Friday, with one showing a chat between Kiyan and her. They joked about New York City being named the worst city for dating in the US.
"I'm doomed," she wrote.
