While she is preparing for her college return, Haley Cavinder is prepping to support her boyfriend, Jake Ferguson. The Dallas Cowboys tight end's third NFL season is less than a month away, and Haley is ready to go all out.
On Monday, the Miami guard posted Ferguson's merch gifted to her by the sports apparel brand Tiny Turnip.
"Getting me ready for game days," she wrote in the story.
Cavinder was also gifted Miami Hurricanes merch, which she posted and wrote:
"Obsessed"
Cavinder and Ferguson were rumored to be dating in September 2023 when the guard was at a Cowboys game. Later in October, they went Instagram official when the TE posted a picture of the couple at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
In a YouTube Q&A from January on the channel she shares with her twin, Hanna Cavinder, Haley explained that going public with her relationship pushed her into a mental breakdown because of all the mean comments from internet trolls:
“I was in Forever 21 having a great day with my mom and Hannah and I got this post and I just started looking at the comments about my face,” Haley recalled. “I’m a confident girl, but when people are saying stuff about you ... like coming at your features, I’m like, this is new.
"And obviously Jake is a great guy, but you don’t want to be called ugly on the internet 24/7, and your boyfriend sees it. That’s not going to make anyone feel cool. So I had a mental breakdown, but that was a while ago."
Haley also added that since Ferguson is confident and loud in showcasing his love for her, she overcame it:
"Honestly, I’m very confident and comfortable sharing my relationship because Jake was very loud about it, she said. He was always like that so it made me feel very comfortable and confident sharing him as well.
"He’s a big part of my life and will continue so it’s not something that I [want to] keep private. I go to Cowboys games and he’ll be at my games.”
Haley Cavinder prepares for her final college season
After a year's break, Haley and her sister Hanna are back in college for their final college eligibility year. They were initially meant to further their business ventures and potentially make a WWE debut.
But the Cavinder twins have shared they wanted to give one last shot at basketball together. With their return, fans are curious to see how they will affect the Hurricanes' prospects in the upcoming season.
