Bueckers reacted to the photo doing rounds on the internet, saying she loved attending the tennis match for the first time in her life. She also gave a shout-out to Tiafoe while she was at it.
“My first tennis match ever… LOVED IT. Had to support my guy & watch him get the dub,” the point guard wrote on X, tagging Tiafoe.
It turned out to be a happy outing for Tiafoe as he brushed aside Andrey Rublev’s challenge in straight sets.
Bueckers will be returning to play another season for the Huskies later this year. She led the team to the Final Four last season but missed out on the national championship. Now, she is getting ready for another go at the ultimate college glory in the 2024 college season.
Paige Bueckers reacted to iconic Simone Biles snap from Paris Olympics
Paige Bueckers recently took to Instagram to share an iconic picture featuring gymnast Simone Biles at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. It came after Biles won the gold medal after sustaining an injury during practice. Sharing the snap, Bueckers wrote:
"Gods timing is never off.”
Biles has injured her calf during the warmups before the women's qualification round. She was quickly attended to by the team doctor and returned to take part in the event with her left leg tapped. Still, the gymnast managed to upstage her opponents to win the gold medal for Team USA.
Paige Bueckers has been attending several events featuring athletes from Team USA, cheering them all on. She will be back to play for the Huskies in her final year at college before making it into next year's WNBA Draft. Will she be able to take her team to the championship, something she missed out on last time?
