UConn stars Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd were spotted at the Washington Mystics vs. the Las Vegas Aces game on June 29. The two attended the game to support their former teammate and friend, Aaliyah Edwards.

Bueckers wore a simple outfit, a Washington jersey over a white long-sleeved sweatshirt and same-colored shorts. Fudd appeared in an all-black ensemble, wearing a black cropped top under a black hoodie and same-colored sweatpants.

Although Edwards and the Mystics lost the game 88-77 against the defending champion Aces, Edwards posed with her former teammates after the showdown.

Aaliyah Edwards scored nine points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes of playing time, helping Washington take an 11-point lead at one point of the game. But it wasn't enough to stop the Aces as they secured their fourth-straight win.

Paige Bueckers gave an important update about her future as a basketball player

The UConn star is going to return to the Huskies squad to play for another season. It will likely be her last year with the team as she made her thoughts clear about future plans related to basketball.

Hearst's Maggie Vanoni reported on June 28 that Paige Bueckers has decided to play her final college basketball season. Many analysts and fans expect her to also declare for the 2025 WNBA draft.

"At Storrs for media with local reporters, UConn women’s basketball star Paige Bueckers confirms she plans on this upcoming season being her last in college but also reiterates that she tries not to plan too much into future."

Bueckers was nominated for Best Comeback Athlete of the Year after her outstanding performance at the 2023-2024 women's college basketball season. Paige made an impressive comeback after suffering an ACL injury in the 2022-2023 season that caused her to take a medical redshirt.

The 22-year-old was back to her usual talented self last year as she averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists for the Huskies.
