Paige Bueckers is enjoying her offseason training and spending time with her little brother, Drew. The two took part in an archery competition in celebration of the Summer Olympics, and the guard shared it on her Instagram.
Drew made an appearance on her Instagram once again as she shared a picture of him, this time out on a boat.
"My captain", she captioned the photo.
Paige Bueckers' parents Bob and Amy divorced when she was three years old and later had children with their partners. Drew is from her father's marriage while she has two more siblings, Ryan and Lauren, from her mom.
Since she spent her childhood with her father in Minnesota, Drew would accompany their dad to her games and cheer her. Paige Bueckers also came out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, saying she was scared for her brother's future.
“At what point do they stop looking at my little brother as a cute little boy and instead as a threat to society? It scares me,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m going to work for change little brother. I want you to grow up in world that accepts you for who you are.”
Paige Bueckers is furthering her business skills this offseason
While preparing for her final college season, Paige Bueckers has also signed massive NIL deals this off-season. She is set to be the first college athlete to receive her own shoe from Nike. The $190 sneakers will be available from September in select stores and online.
Bueckers also signed an endorsement deal with haircare brand, Madison Reed. She will be the face of the ColorWonder line along with teammate, Azzi Fudd. Ice Brady and Morgan Cheli will front the launch.
Besides being the face of the campaign, Bueckers and Team ColorWonder will receive the equity stake in Madison Reed, along with internships for class credit. They will also have the opportunity of franchising a Madison Reed Hair Color Bar in the future and be able to access the brand's internal and external networks.
To top this all off, it was reported that Bueckers is set to sign a deal with Unrivaled, the new 3v3 women's basketball league. Founded by UConn alums Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, the league offers ownership stake for all its players. Since Buecker still plays in the NCAA, she will take on a more promotional role for now.
