It looks like UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers is not done traveling yet. The guard has been on a 'world tour' this summer as she flew across the country supporting the WNBA and other sports athletes.
The tour paused as Bueckers started her graduate classes on Aug 26, but now she is back on the road again. On Sunday, the guard was in attendance at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers game in Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium. She posted a video of the stadium to her Instagram story.
The one thing that caught people's attention during her appearance was Paige Bueckers' new hair color. Taking a break from her iconic blonde tresses, the guard switched back to pink, the same color she had during her campaign with Madison Reed.
Bueckers, along with Azzi Fudd, is the brand ambassador of the ColorWonder line from the hair color brand. The partnership was announced in August and UConn star is reported to have an equity stake in the brand as part of the deal.
Paige Bueckers promises to be back in class on Monday
Paige Bueckers' world tour has become a running joke among fans and even the UConn WBB social media joined in. In August, Bueckers was in New York for the fashion week and was later seen at a Liberty game.
The guard posted pictures from the day on Instagram and UConn asked her to return to Storrs for her class. This time around, Bueckers was one step ahead as she wrote on X:
"Yes I am at a sporting event in LA & yes I will be in class tmr AM in Connecticut"
Paige Bueckers is set to play her fifth college season with the UConn Huskies. Her college journey has been a rollercoaster ride as she enjoyed a great freshman season but was sidelined for most of the next two years with injuries.
Bueckers' 2023-24 season was her first healthy run since her first year with the Huskies and she led them to the Final Four. The only quest unfulfilled on Bueckers' list is the NCAA championship.
However, the road to the title will not be easy as UConn is set to face heavy competition from South Carolina and USC, as both teams are stacked with immense talents.
