UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers has had a whirlwind offseason, her first one free of injury rehabilitation after past season-ending injuries. She recently returned to the gym to begin training for her last season in Storrs.

After recently becoming the only student-athlete to own equity in 3-on-3 basketball league Unrivaled, Bueckers has distinguished herself as one of the most marketable players in college sports.

She recently showed off her new Tag Heuer X F1 watch worth $1,500 (as per the Tag Heuer website) on her Instagram stories. It was captioned:

"Appreciate the love @kith @ronniefieg."

Paige Bueckers levels up in the NIL space ahead of final season

Paige Bueckers opted to remain at UConn for an extra year despite most of the prospects in her recruitment cycle, including her friends Aaliyah Edwards and Nika Muhl, declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft.

As a result, she has become the de facto face of women's college basketball, and the endorsements are flowing in. A few weeks ago, she bagged a NIL deal with the new 3-on-3 Unrivaled league that will take place during the WNBA offseason. She will get equity in the league, which was founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart.

The popular Paige Bueckers spoke to the Associated Press about the deal with Unrivaled and what it meant to her.

“It’s super cool. Obviously, you want to plan for the future, but your feet are living in the present,” Bueckers said. “To be part of that which is something that’s so much bigger than myself. I definitely think the return on investment will be huge. I think this league is gonna do great things. Unrivaled is going to be a huge thing with people watching during the offseason of the WNBA.”

Stewart also spoke to the AP about Unrivaled's vision in signing up Bueckers and what it meant for the future of the league to snag one of the most talented college basketball players before it even tipped off.

“Paige being a part of Unrivaled shows the longevity and future this league has,” Stewart said. “Her being supportive of us in the first year and then playing in the second, is something that’s really exciting. We just are making sure that each year we have top caliber talent coming in.”

Paige Bueckers will be eligible to play in the league in 2026 after she enters the WNBA via the 2025 Draft where she is widely expected to be the No. 1 overall pick.
