The UConn star player, Paige Bueckers, is enjoying the off-season by spending time with his family and teammates. She shared pictures and was also seen attending one of the NBA final games.

Bueckers often builds vibrant Lego creations with her teammates and once compared head coach Geno Auriemma to UP's protagonist.

Paige Bueckers had more Lego-related fun when she posed with a Lego Hulk with her teammate Jana El Alfy, calling the animated superhero their "triplet."

Though Bueckers has signed NIL deals with brands like Gatorade, Crocs, Verizon, Bose and Dunkin', a collaboration with a toy company like Lego will be a delight to witness for many UConn fans.

Paige Bueckers makes a wave as she gets nominated for an ESPY Award

To honor talented college and professional athletes, ABC Network conducts and presents the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award. For this year’s award, the UConn star was nominated in the category of Best Comeback Athlete of the Year after her impressive performance at the 2023-24 women’s college basketball season.

She was back on the hardwood floor after suffering an ACL injury in the 2022-23 season, which led her to take a medical redshirt and skip the 2023 WNBA draft.

However, after healing from the injury, she was back on the squad and played outstandingly last year. Paige Bueckers averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists.

If Bueckers wins an ESPY this year, it would be her second as she also bagged the award in 2021 for Best College Athlete in Women's Sports. Alongside the UConn star, other athletes like legendary gymnast Simone Biles, quarterback Joe Flacco and New Orleans Pelicans' Zion Williamson were nominated for the award.

Bueckers will return to college basketball for another year. Many analysts and fans expect her to declare for the 2025 WNBA draft. Given her talented portfolio, it can be said without a doubt that Bueckers will become a lottery pick in next year's draft class.
