Hanna Cavinder and her twin, Haley, are back in Miami for their final college season. After a successful season opener against Stetson, the Hurricanes continued their victory run with a 74-71 win over Jacksonville on Monday.
Cheering on Hanna Cavinder was her boyfriend Carson Beck's mother, Tracy Beck. She shared a picture from the game on her Instagram story and wrote:
"Yes girls! Love watching you both do your thing❤️."
Rumors of Hanna and Carson Beck in a relationship began in July when the couple were photographed together for the Fourth of July celebrations. While they have not revealed more details, the pair have been supportive of each other, with the Miami guard being present for most of the quarterback's games with Georgia.
However, these days, Hanna Cavinder has drawn the ire of Bulldogs fans who blame the guard for Beck's struggles on the field. The Cavinder twins joked about it in a recent video on Instagram where they participated in the "Suspect Challenge."
Haley took the first shots when she said that Hanna's entire personality was her boyfriend.
“Suspect is the biggest curse in college football right now,” Haley then said.
Hanna finished with nine points, five assists and two steals in the first game against Stetson, and she had seven points, five rebounds and seven assists against the Dolphins.
Haley names Hanna Cavinder as the reason for her transfer
During their previous run with the Hurricanes as seniors, Haley and Hanna Cavinder led Miami to a historic Elite Eight run. They were supposed to hang up their shoes, but Haley made the return, transferring to TCU in November last year.
However, with Hanna's return to Miami, her twin also followed. In an interview with "For The Win," Haley explained her reasons.
"And, honestly, just playing my fifth year with my twin sister," she said. "I think, looking back, if I was older and didn’t choose to do that, I would have a lot of regrets. And that’s just a decision that was very easy, just because I’ve played basketball with my twin my whole life.
"Hanna was coming back and Miami wanted Hanna. So, then it was like, ‘OK, should I stay at TCU and not play with my twin sister? Or should I go back?’ And that was the decision I had to make. And my twin is my best friend, so I’ll leave it at that.”
Up next, Miami will play against Florida on Saturday.
