Miami women's basketball star, Hanna Cavinder, gave a sneak peek of a fun outing she had with her friends. Cavinder posted a video on the Cavinder Twins' Instagram story on Saturday, which showed her giving a toast to her "girls" before opening a bottle of wine.

It was a nod to their friendship amid changing destinations.

"From CB to Becker's bae, you all moved to Texas since I moved away. Just as it didn't break us, pookie still slay," the Miami senior said in the video.
"The girls are so back," she captioned.

Hanna Cavinder & Co. couldn't avoid Miami's seven-game losing skid

Miami women's basketball suffered their seventh consecutive defeat on Thursday after the Hurricanes fell to a narrow 64-61 defeat to the Clemson Tigers. Hanna Cavinder finished the game with six points, four rebounds and a game-high six assists.

Her twin sister, Haley Cavinder led the Canes with 18 points, five assists and five rebounds. Haley scored 16 of her 18 points across the first 20 minutes of action.

Miami trailed Clemson early in the first half, with a 19-13 deficit just over eight minutes into the game. However, the Canes rallied as Hanna finished a layup and Haley Cavinder buried a 3-pointer right before the buzzer to close the deficit to 19-18.

In the second quarter, Miami took a 24-19 lead over Clemson, with back-to-back 3-pointers from Leah Harmon and Lemyah Hylton. The Canes also scored six straight points to take a 37-26 lead into halftime.

Miami continued to dominate the court in the third quarter but allowed Clemson to narrow the deficit to six points. However, the Canes went on a 10-0 run to take a commanding 49-33 lead and entered the final quarter with a 53-40 advantage.

However, the Tigers opened the final quarter on a 15-2 run to tie the contest up at 55 points with 5:50 minutes remaining. The game was tied at 59-59 with 1:27 to go. Then Clemson produced a layup and a free throw which eventually buried Miami's hopes of getting a first win in the new year.

Miami (11-8, 1-7) will return to the court on Sunday to host SMU at the Watsco Center.
