How Flau'jae Johnson and LSU performed against Arkansas

Flau'jae Johnson and the No. 6-ranked Tigers were dominant throughout their matchup with the Razorbacks. LSU jumped out to a big 51-26 lead at halftime, showcasing aggressiveness on the glass (46-28 by the game's end) and on defense (Arkansas shot 36% overall and 31% from three). They continued that in the third quarter by outscoring Arkansas 32-10.

While Arkansas won the final period 28-15, the deficit was too big for them to overcome. Izzy Higginbottom, the top scorer in the SEC, finished with a game-high 27 points for the Razorbacks.

Four players scored in double-digits for the Tigers, as Kailyn Gilbert had the most points with 16 on 7-of-12 shooting. Johnson came next with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, Mikaylah Williams put up 14 points and Aneesah Morrow also finished with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The victory maintains LSU's undefeated record at 16-0. The team has been averaging 92.9 points on 49% shooting and 35.1% from beyond the arc, blowing past opponents by a winning margin of 33.3 points. Johnson leads the offense averaging 20.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.6 steals and a block per contest.

Starting conference play with a win, Flau'jae Johnson and LSU will move on to their next matchup with the Auburn Tigers at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
