Dawn Staley seems to be making the best of her Paris trip. The South Carolina coach is in the city as part of the Presidential delegation with USA's First Lady, Jill Biden, for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

While there, Staley met with Arielle Chambers, founder of HighlightHER, a media production company focusing on women's sports. The two danced to Megan Thee Stallion's "Mamushi," and Chambers posted the video on X with the caption:

"I heard yall wanted @dawnstaley to hit a TikTok real fast 😭 @theestallion where you at sissss? Pull up on us in Paris."

The rapper replied to their post with a series of heart-eye emojis. While it would be amazing for Megan to join them in Paris, she is currently on her 'Hot Girl Summer Tour,' which ends on August 1.

Meanwhile, Dawn Staley is going full out in her support for Team USA athletes. She has been documenting her trip on Instagram and X, giving fans day-by-day updates.

Coach Staley has won three Olympic gold medals as a player from 1996 to 2004 and later as a coach in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She also created history as the USA's first flagbearer from basketball during the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Dawn Staley reverses her stand on Caitlin Clark's snub from the Olympic roster

The announcement of the Team USA 5v5 roster in June was met with much criticism from the media and fans. They pointed out that the selection committee had missed their chance to bring more eyes to the game by excluding rookie standout Caitlin Clark from the roster.

At the time, the committee justified the process by stating that the aim of the Olympics was to win gold and not to market the game. Dawn Staley, who was part of the committee, now seems to have changed her stand. In an interview with NBC’s Mike Tirico, she said:

“As a committee member, you’re charged with putting together the best team of players, the best talent. Caitlin is just a rookie in the WNBA, wasn’t playing bad, but wasn’t playing like she’s playing now.
"If we had to do it all over again, the way that she’s playing, she would be in really high consideration of making the team because she is playing head and shoulders above a lot of people.”
