The Purdue Boilermakers were able to score the basketball at a good level as throughout the four quarters, they finished shooting 25-of-61 (41.0%) from the field, 9-of-22 (40.9%) from beyond the arc and 4-of-6 (66.7%) from the charity stripe. The team was able to pass the basketball at a mediocre level as they had 16 assists compared to 18 turnovers.
The Boilermakers struggled to crash the glass as they had 27 total rebounds (seven offensive, 20 defensive) while only recording three blocks as well as 11 steals. The team offensively was able to move with a quicker pace as they scored 13 fast break points but only 22 points in the paint.
