There was a massive victory in the Big Ten Conference as the No. 20 Purdue Boilermakers enjoyed a massive second half to pick up an 81-61 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Boilermakers were able to dominate thanks to Fletcher Loyer scoring 24 points on 8-of-10 shooting while Braden Smith finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
The Boilermakers (10-4, 2-1 Big Ten) were able to look sharp with a massive second half in this game thanks to their solid shooting. The Golden Gophers (8-6, 0-3) still are winless in conference play but they were able to shoot the ball at a decent rate throughout the 40 minutes.
