After a long wait, UConn fans finally get to see Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd clicking on the court. Bueckers and Fudd, who share a close bond off the court, put on a show on Monday in the 71-52 win over Oregon State.

Fudd came off the bench for UConn against the Beavers in the semifinal matchup of the Baha Mar Women's Championship and contributed three points, five assists and four rebounds.

Fans loved a moment in the game when Bueckers passed the ball to Fudd, who made her first 3-pointer after returning from a knee injury. Bueckers celebrated by lifting her arms in the air and could not hide her excitement after Fudd scored.

Prior to this season, Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd had shared the court together for fewer than 20 games, despite being at UConn for four years.

Bueckers missed half of her second year and all of her third year because of an ACL injury. Fudd also missed a large chunk of last season due to an injury. She played her first game after recovering last week against Fairleigh Dickinson.

Paige Bueckers discusses plan to set up 3-pointer for Azzi Fudd

Azzi Fudd stepped foot on the court for the first time in over a year on Nov. 20, and the first thing she did was attempt a 3-pointer, though she missed it. She played 12 minutes against the Knights scoring four points and grabbing one rebound.

Paige Bueckers was excited about Fudd's return and talked about the plan to help her teammate find success on the court.

"We kind of had a specific play we run to get a 3 in the corner and so obviously Azzi checking in, I wanted to get her a look and hopefully have her make a 3 as soon as she checks in," Paige said postgame. "I think she played very aggressive and it showed defensively, as well ... we’re all grateful that she’s back."

The plan was executed in the game against Oregon State. Once Fudd checked in, Paige Bueckers found her in the left corner for an open 3-pointer, which she knocked down.
