LSU coach Kim Mulkey warmed the hearts of fans during a postgame press conference after the then-No.5 Tigers' dominant 100-54 win over Grambling on Sunday.
Mulkey thanked Grambling, an HBCU, for making itself available for the game. The Louisiana native also spoke about their opponent's style of play and how her team prepared for it.
"We knew going in that Grambling presses the entire game," Mulkey said. "They like to trap you. Heck, they normally trap off the jump ball. You're going to have turnovers when you play teams that want to make it ugly like that."
Mulkey also spoke about how LSU (11-0) countered this threat by taking care of the ball and by putting pressure on the opposition when the Tigers didn't have the ball in their hands.
Fans were impressed by Kim Mulkey's press conference and shared their comments under the video.

Kim Mulkey speaks on why Mikaylah Williams was taken out in homecoming game vs. Grambling State
Kim Mulkey also explained why she took out her star player, Mikaylah Williams, late in the game. Williams was playing in front of her Bossier City home crowd, and her jersey (No. 12) was retired by Parkway High School in a pregame ceremony.
"I took her out so the crowd could all acknowledge her, " Mulkey said. "There was no frustration. That's just Mikaylah and her mannerisms, and I just told her she needed to look around this arena and (that) they (the crowd) were there for her, and (I explained) what she means to this area of the state."
Williams finished with 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks. She was the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year for the 2022-23 season. Williams averaged 17.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.6 steals per game through 34 games as she led Parkway High School to the state championship game.
