There is a lot of excitement for the James family on Wednesday as the first round of the 2024 NBA draft kicks off. It will be determined throughout the next two days where Bronny James will wind up playing basketball professionally.

While posting a series of pictures of himself playing basketball and working out with his sons Bryce and Bronny James, LeBron James penned a touching note to his sons on Instagram on Wednesday.

"Not a feeling in the fkn world better than being around raising my boys to MEN! Pops over here getting emotional as hell just thinking about yall journey so far! Thank you both for allowing me to be your DAD and be apart of your compass through life's trials and tribulations!

LeBron James could become a free agent if he declines his player option with the LA Lakers, which is expected.

Will Bronny James be selected in the first round of the 2024 NBA draft?

Bronny James has been one of the players with the widest ranges of draft expectations as he has been rumored to go as high as the first round and is also projected to be undrafted. However, it's important to understand a baseline of what his talents are.

Despite having a cardiac arrest less than one year ago, he played college basketball as a freshman with the USC Trojans but was unable to do too well individually or as a team.

The end of the second round of the NBA draft on Thursday seems the most likely situation as a lot of NBA general managers view second-round draft picks as lottery tickets, and that is what Bronny James is at this point. This draft class is one of the weaker drafts in a while, according to experts, but Bronny James still does not crack the top 30 players in the class after his only college basketball season.

Do not expect to hear Bronny James' name being called until the second round of the 2024 NBA draft.
