Fans reacted as Kiyan Anthony, a six-foot-five shooting guard from Long Island Lutheran High and son of former NBA star Carmelo Anthony, received multiple offers. Kiyan is a consensus four-star prospect with a player rating of 86 by ESPN, ranking 41st nationally, ninth among shooting guards and the No.1 recruit in New York.

Anthony has received 19 offers from different colleges, per 247Sports, including some top names like Michigan, Indiana, Syracuse, Ohio State, Seton Hall and Tennessee.

On Wednesday, basketball reporter Joe Tipton tweeted that Anthony is considering visiting several campuses.

"Top-30 recruit Kiyan Anthony says he's considering visits to Ohio St., Auburn, USC, Rutgers, and a return trip to 'Cuse. The son of Carmelo gives his thoughts on each, discusses new interest from Arkansas, and updates where things are with Indiana (On3+)," Tipton wrote.

Kiyan Anthony has not made any announcement regarding his commitment to any schools. However, hoops fans are urging the Denver native to pick their favorite teams.

"rutgers lock," one fan suggested.

One USC fan hopes Kiyan would move to Galen Center.

"Trojans!!," the fan commented.

Some fans mentioned his father's success with Syracuse, where he won the national championship, and suggested Kiyan would choose the Orange too.

"Bro loves red and orange," one fan wrote.
"I believe his father’s relationship with Coach Woodson will help tip the scales to Indiana," another fan commented.

Others speculated about the possibility of Anthony playing for some other colleges.

"Wouldn’t Ohio state be a return trip too or am tripping?" a fan wrote.
"Seeing him play for Woody at IU would be pretty cool. Melo had his best season playing under woody," another fan suggested.
