Flau'jae Johnson's mom revealed which WNBA team should draft her
The LSU star has been an imminent part of the Kim Mulkey-led squad. She helped the team advance to the Elite Eight round of the 2024 NCAAW championship tournament. Johnson will enter her junior year and can declare for the 2025 WNBA draft.
In September, her mom, Kia Brooks, appeared on her daughter's "Best of Both Worl with Flau'jae" podcast. She named the teams she can see her daughter playing for on the podcast.
"The second choice will be Atlanta. You will sell out arenas in Atlanta Georgia. Period. That is your home, that is where you are from, the love for you here is just so beautiful like our house is being built here in Atlanta. It is like a perfect thing you know," Brooks said (00:30:17).
Flau'jae Johnson is expected to be a top-ten pick in next year's draft. The LA Sparks might pick her but the Atlanta Dream won't get the chance to choose Flau'jae as they do not have a first-round pick.
Which team should draft Flau'jae Johnson if she declares for next year's WNBA draft? Let us know in the discussion box.
