TCU stars Hailey Van Lith and Sedona Prince put on a show as they propelled the Horned Frogs to a 69-43 road victory over Texas Tech on Saturday. Van Lith and Prince combined for 42 of TCU's 69 points on the night.
After the impressive win, Prince reposted TCUWBB's Instagram graphic featuring the duo alongside their stat lines on her Instagram story.
"my dawg," she wrote over the picture with a raising hands emoji.
Hailey Van Lith finished with 22 points, seven assists and four rebounds in the win. It was also the first time she dropped 20 points since Dec. 15 against Louisiana Tech.
Meanwhile, Prince recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Not only did she stuff the offensive stat sheet, but she was also their anchor on the defensive end. Out of 10 boards, nine were on the defensive glass. She also blocked five shots and came away with three steals.
Sedona Prince, a 6-foot-7 senior, added another Instagram story showcasing TCU's new record of conceding the fewest points (43) against the Lady Raiders in a Big 12 road game.
"This squad is going to break a record for how many records we've broken," Prince wrote as the caption.
TCU coach Mark Campbell talks about Hailey Van Lith and Sedona Prince
Mark Campbell is blessed with two veteran stars, Hailey Van Lith and Sedona Prince, leading the No. 11 TCU Horned Frogs this season. Van Lith, who transferred in from LSU, has taken her game to another level as she averages over 18.0 points per game.
After the Saturday win in Lubbock, Texas, Campbell had high praise for his talented duo.
"We have some very high-profile kids on this team. We're the number 11 team in the country. You're going to get everybody's best shot," Campbell said postgame (3:36). "You have to weather the storm on the road, and over the course of 40 minutes, it's hard to keep up with us and sustain that level of energy.
"Hailey and Sedona have been in so many battles and wars over their college career — they understand it. Now, the rest of the team is truly understanding that."
Hailey Van Lith and Prince lead the way for the Frogs as they both average 18.2 points per game. Prince is also grabbing a team-high 9.4 rebounds per contest, while Van Lith is dishing out 6.1 assists per outing.
The Horned Frogs (17-1, 5-0 Big 12) will return home to host the UCF Knights on Tuesday.
