The sixth-ranked USC Trojans were able to absolutely dominate on Wednesday evening in the Acrisure Holiday Invitational with an 84-51 win over the Seton Hall Pirates. JuJu Watkins led the program with 20 points and seven rebounds but struggled as she also turned the ball over eight times. However, the game was not close from the start.

The Pirates (4-2) struggled in this game but were able to see Faith Masonius step up and score 25 of Seton Hall’s 51 points. The Trojans (5-1) were able to be successful in this game and completely controlled the game without any resistance.

Seton Hall vs. USC Game Summary
The Setton Hall Pirates were not able to do much offensively as they finished shooing 21-of-64 (32.3%) overall, 5-of-23 (21.7%) from beyond the arc, and 4-of-9 (44.4%) from the charity stripe.
They were completely neutered on the glass with 27 total rebounds and committed 13 total turnovers. They were able to play with some pace as they scored 12 fast break points and 28 points in the paint.

Defensively, the Pirates forced seven steals and a pair of blocks. However, they never had a lead of more than three points throughout the game.
The USC Trojans were able to shoot the basketball at a great level as the team was able to shoot 34-of-69 (49.3%) throughout the game, 6-of-21 (28.6%) from three, and 10-of-16 (62.5%) from the free-throw line.
Saying USC dominated the glass is an understatement as they had 56 total rebounds (22 offensive, 34 defensive) and had 20 assists. The defense had eight steals and six blocks to make their presence known as well.
The biggest problem was committing 16 total turnovers in the game. However, they won by 33 points, which was their biggest lead of the game.
